I have just got my new Iphone 3gs running 3.01 I have been watching vids on You tube on jailbreaking, I started doing it using purplera1n it started fine then it went into DFU mode and nothing else, I have tried everything to get it out o it but nothing works, itunes doesn't even recognise it so I can't even do the restore, even my PC running vista keeps saying foun new hardware it gives me the option to search for drivers, then another box pops up telling me to insert the disc that comes with your Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode),I click the option (the only option given)"Idon't have the disc show me more options" then another box pops up saying "check for a solution"I click that and it says "Windows is unable to install your apple mobie device (Recovery Mode)I am at a total loss, I have tried holding the power and home buttons then releasing them when apple logo appears or holding the home button for an extra 10 seconds and nothing works at all, please can anyone help me.....
