HI All, I am getting an officially unlocked Iphone 3GS 16GB from HongKong. Mu queries are like 1.Whether the phone will work in INDIA? 2.What could be the constraints or features which u think will not work here in INDIA? 3.What about the SIM cards switching?I mean ionce the phone is activated with an HongKong Sim,whetther it will work if i insert my INDIAN SIM? 4.Also please let me know if there will be any kind of problems(Hardware/software) i have to face here in india with the phone? Please respond to this ASAP cos then only i can decide tht i shld get it or not from HongKong. Poor Taste?

if u say is unlock,normally is can use on any telco carrier.

Hi Gomtesh A week ago I bought an iphone 3Gs, 32gb - HK factory unlocked - from Bombay, India. It works flawlessly on my Airtel network here. There are no constraints in use and all the features of the phone are operational. I also tried simcards of other carriers and it works properly. You should not have any problem using this phone here in India. 73 Moksha

hi moksha grt news,,can u please tell me where in bombay did u buy the hongkong factory unlocked iphone 3gs 32 mb as I am thinkning of getting the same fron HK wud save me tons of trouble if i can get the same here in bombay and what did u pay cheers and hope to hear from u jo
