The HTC touch pro 2 is another phone which has come out this summer (an update to the very popular HTC touch pro)

I'm very curious to hear your thoughts on which is better. 

As far as I'm concerned the pros and cons(of the touch pro 2) look a little like this:

Pros:

1) Proper qwerty keyboard (although this is not a positive for some people, and if its not seen as a positive its a negative due to bulk the iphone does not have). 

2) Very high screen resolution (also a large screen) - though not much difference here. 

Cons:

1) Does not have as many apps (the days when windows mobile had the majority of the applications are long gone, and apple will only continue to increase).

2) Bulky due to the keyboard weight.
