iPhone 3GS goes a step further, finding the closest satellites to more quickly identify your position. If you’re not within a clear line of sight to a GPS satellite, iPhone finds you via Wi-Fi. If you’re not in range of a Wi-Fi hotspot, iPhone finds you using cellular towers, a pretty good intelligence to have in an iPhone. Poor Taste?

No argument from me in that regard. It could be extremely valuable in an emergency, and these days, having a backup like this is pretty important.

I was not aware of that feature. I am not very good with technology, and my iPhone is still pretty new. I am happy to hear that. I love the iPhone alot so far!

iPhone is Apple's brain child its features are really amazing.Having a GPS like this is more important for a traveler.It 'll help find the correct way in any means.Thats the key thing everyone wants in a GPS system and its happy to see it in Apple
