Well the technical details of mobile signal specification can be as high as this. To be honest I expect none of the members to use it at that attitude. I would probably never attempt to test such proven things.
I guess people who have their feet planted firmly on the ground won't need it. But what about extreme sports enthusiasts? Perhaps they require it, though I am not really sure.
10,000 feet is a bit much, unless there is also a way to be able to use it on a plane without it interfering with the plane equipment. For some sports enthusiasts it would be good to have if they actually could get reception wherever they are.
