Yes, I had heard that recently there are large numbers of scams had popped up after the iPhone frenzy. It is better that people stay away from scams and fee gifts like this as many are scammed on a daily basis.

As the saying goes, nothing is free; at least nothing that sales for $199. People need to be very cautious, that's for sure.

Yes does seem odd that someone would think a company is giving away a $200 item without a catch. Buyer beware I suppose figured it was counterfeiters |

Well, it's mostly obvious when there's a scam, no one would give free iPhones, unless you were like at one of those talk shows, that give free stuff, people should be more cautions, nothings free, unless it's broken or something...

I've seen alot lately of websites offering free iPhones if you fill out their survey. But at the end you have to agree to buy something from one of their sponsors, it takes forever, and in the end you don't get a phone unless you pay money for something else. NOT FREE. |

People should always be very careful about anything with the word 'free' involved; especially when an iphone is involved. I hope these people don't managae to scam many more people. |

Since years, they are circulating emails that Sony Ericcson is giving away free phones. It is all a fairy tale. I wouldn't be surprised if I start receiving emails that tell me that if I forward it to twenty people, Apple would send an iPhone to my address.

yep..thats very correct..i mean thier is no such site offering u iphones and that too for freeee!!!! i dont agree as for last few months i bieng applying for ipods and other kinda stuff but now i think i have totally wasted my time as well as my money charged at cyber cafes:-( |
