The Dev Team release Ultrasn0w for iPhone 3G

It’s the latest news from the iPhone Dev Team: they have released their latest tool, Ultrasn0w, which unlocks the iPhone 3G for use with any carrier. And it also works in conjunction with the Team’s Redsn0w app, which is first used to jailbreak the iPhone 3G, and can unlock the latest iPhone OS 3.0 software. However, Ultrasn0w does not work yet on the new iPhone 3GS.

As long as it does not work on the iphone3GS it won't be getting an attention even if they release a patch version of it. Further it looks like the Dev team is working on new applications to make iphones much better which I think is a good thing.

I don't agree with andrew25 regarding ultrasnow getting any attention, those who could not get  the iPhone3G s and has the older versions will be the ones who will cater this application. It's a good thing the Dev't team are working hard to upgrade other versions of iPhone
