I was reading and came across another place that is discussing this phone. They are saying there is a simple upgrade that is reasonably priced that converts your software to a os 3.0 and is just about the same as the 3g s? Anyone know much about it?
Well technically you can upgrade to 3g. However the main plus points of 3g is its hardware and options which you don't get by just upgrading to 3.0 OS. And I would generally prepare to stay with my old OS.
I have to agree with the first two posters on this topic. Upgrading will only affect your software, but not the hardware, and the hardware is what provides the speed enhancements.
I would rather stick to the old OS because it will mainly affect your hardware. the hardware just don't adopt to the new 3g feature that you will upgrade to.
