I doubt it, you're better off investing a few dollars into a real scientific calculator with enough functions to calculate just about anything you can comprehend.
If you are thinking of seriously using the calculator functions then you can buy an all new calculator for this purpose as you can't expect a calculator to be perfect in a phone where it comes as an additional feature and not as a primary one.
Hi it is better to go for a separate calculator with all facility than to depend on iphone 3gs calculator. It is just an added tool for emergency use.It has the facility of two calculators in one. Rotate it to landscape to transform it from basic to scientific.I have heard that the parenthesis function not working properly in it.
From what I understand there will be a decent calculator available on the iPhone 3GS; and if you get along well using the calculator built into an existing phone then you should probably ignore the advice of the others and just use the one on the 3GS, which will more than match anything you can find on a phone.
Not really certain why calculators can't be close to perfect in a phone, calculators been around along time. Maybe they need to get with Texas Instruments and get it done
I totally agree with all the posters above, Get a separate calculator which can compute more, Calculators in phones are more on the basic type than the scientific type. Odds is having a separate cellphone and calculator is way better.
Why is this such an impossibility in everyone's minds? It seems to me like it just takes the techno wizards to work on something. They've got practically everything else on there.
