1 month old Rogers 3G - now 3Gs out - SUUUUCKS!

I got my iPhone on the 15th May. I asked my Rogers associate what was coming down the line from Apple. He said the firmware upgrade but no mention of the 3Gs. FRAUD? I signed based upon that. Not only that...now my 8Gig is only $99. I HAAATE ROGERS and everyone that looks like them. Poor Taste?

That was kind of a dick move of them. Still, you have an internet connection, you could've done your own research instead of taking the word of some salesman. It was a dick move, but fraud? Far from it.

That totally does suck. I would go in and raise a stink and tell them that you only got the phone/plan/switched to them because they assured you that the 3G was the latest and greatest and there were not potential new things coming.....maybe they'll strike you a deal. Threaten to leave - that often helps ;)

Its not their fault. Apple didnt release ANY details to ANYONE... My friend work at Rogers, they weren't told about new iPhone. You have to read up on rumors and what people say online before hand... far from fraud..

If you want to have the best offer, you have to research yourself. A salesman is as the word says a man of sales. For him only the sale is counting.

Oh well! That's hard luck! But Apple is quite a secretive company. What is they have a new model up their sleeve? This means that the 3Gs could get outdated. To be practical, isn't it possible to trade your 3G for a 3Gs?
