Well, from what I've heard, it's ok. But I prefer the Kindle for reading e-books. It doesn't hurt the eyes!

I don't know about you, but I like the idea that the 3G S has an app for ereader.com, which is easily the largest ebookstore online!

You should probably download the stanza app, a free e-book reader for the iphone.

I still hate using LCD screens like the iPhone to read e-books on. I think it's an eyestrain and all that. Plus the iPhone has this reflective surface that makes it difficult to read under direct light or sunlight. And it depletes the battery too!

I do agree with you on your observations, which is why I tend to bring along my kindle with me. But the iPhone is an ok substitute.

I wouldn't say its a great ebook reader, but because of the iphones wider screen it makes a much better reader than my imate and ipaq phones. | | Poor Taste?

Having an e-book reader in your iPhone is ok and convenient once in a while but I'm not a fan of an LCD screen while reading it, It really hurts your eye when the sun reflects on it.
