AT&T's Mark siegel has announced that the company will not be changing it's data plans, saying that AT&T has been very happy with the pricing.

A cheaper data plan would have boost sales for the iPhone.  I wonder why they are sticking to the current prices!

Whatever happened to the rumors that AT&T wanted to drop the voice and data plan from $69 to $59 per month!

Well, I guess the company saw that even at $69, people are willing to snatch up the iPhone and the 3G S.  Sigh... capitalist pigs!

I think that as long as people continue to purchase this product and continue to pay the rates, why would they ever drop the prices?  Would you willingly give up money that people are giving to you even if they complain about it?

We'll that's a perk they receive having an exclusive contact with apple. Business is business and they have the monopoly for this. Sad but true
