I've bought the iPhone 3G with AT&T last July! And I've been with them for like 3 years now! And now, I can't get the iPhone 3G S at the subsidized price all because I made the mistake of buying the 3G S when it first came out! I feel cheated! AT&T is not putting a premium on its loyal customers! If I had known that they were gonna screw me over, I wouldn't have stayed with them all these years! Poor Taste?

I agree and understand how you feel. I've been denied by AT&T too, saying that I still have 6 months remaining on my contract! Yet they give NEW customers the full subsidized price!

AT&T does not value customer loyalty? Hi you guys. Remember that customer loyalty is what businesses aim for. And I understand your sentiments. But I will side on AT&T on this one... it is a business still. Do you think it's fair for them to let you forego on your 2 year contracts when they've paid a $400 subsidy which they could recoup only if you finish your 2 year contract

hey guys, you have a right to feel cheated, but that doesn't mean that you're justified in feeling so. I agree that AT&T is still a business, not some thing that feels like a huggy-huggy friend.

If you really want the 3G S now, why not pay for it unsubsidized. You can probably sell your 3G too :)

So what did you bought in July last year, the 3G or the 3G S? Your post does not clearly say it. Do not blame AT&T, if you are not willing to wait and want it immediately.

It's lawsuit material that's what it is. I guarantee you that a huge backlash will happen from this, and AT&T will be ponying up large amounts of cash in the near future.

Boy, do I hear you. That's why I totally hate the contract system. They tie people down and allow them to be taken advantage of. If a company was really superior and had great service, they wouldn't need a contract because those customers would keep coming back by choice, not force.

Business is business that's what I say, Though you feel cheated we can't do anything about it. Income is income and they have the monopoly to do so.
