Finally, the iPhone has video capability! This is one of my greatest disappointment with the iPhone. It was a good screen and it plays back videos quite well, but no way to take videos!
Thanks for the information, Athalia, but I'm a little confused. Are you saying that the new phone has video capability to playback, but it didn't before? And are you saying that it can't take videos and you'd like it to, or is that something that the new phone is able to do? Personally, I'd like to see it be able to take videos. I'd be very surprised if it didn't.
The thing is with the 3G S you can record 30 frames per second. You can also record in widescreen mode and in portrait mode. All these with just a tap of your fingers!
Well, to be clear about it, previous versions of the iPhone did not have the capability to take videos. Am sure you know that, right? The new 3G S does. And my pet peeve was that it was not able to take videos before. No longer.
Not only that, you can publish your video to your MobileMe Gallery, or straight to YouTube, you don't need to transfer your videos to a computer to do so!
Okay I can understand how this feature is super neat, but will anyone really use it? I very rarely take pictures even with my cell phone, even though the quality is good, because its just not what I think to do with my phone. I'm fairly certain I would never use this. But it is pretty cool.
