Well, for one, the 3G S "learns" the words you use most, and it also tracks the words you type. So in effect, when you type something it gives you suggestions, so you don't have to type out the whole word...

And not only that, it automatically corrects your spelling and inserts punctuation marks for you. Ain't that great?

you can also edit easily using the magnifying glass feature they have. You bring up the magnifying glass so that you could put the cursor where you want it.

More than adding apostrophes to dont (making it don't) and other words like it, it also capitalizes the first letters of every sentence!

It might also speculate the word based on the context. Personally though, I find those things useless, since I can type pretty fast on them. It'll be handy if I don't have to type out the name of every damn chemical I need for cleaning up.

Okay if there is a chance that the predictive text is that much better, I will cry tears of joy! I find the predictive stuff infuriating - NO I did not want to say locclie (which I don't even think is a word....) but then real words dont' exist in the thing. Outrageous. YES!!! This phone, 3G S, also like corrects your spelling mistakes and like your periods, commas, etc. Well, this is what I heard. I swear, robots are going to take over the world someday. lol

Ugh! That is going to be the first thing I disable. I spend more time fixing the autocorrects mistakes than typing most of the time. Since my style of writing stands out a lot, I'll be having a lot of rows with the machine.

I think this is going to take some getting used to. I really like the convenience of not having to type that much; I'm curious to see if it can learn that well.
