voice control: english only?

The voice control would have been a welcome feature, but I'm Chinese and most of the people in my contacts list are in Chinese, so are most of the songs I listen to.  So I am really hoping the voice control will be available in Chinese.

Oh, that sucks.  I think if you change your contact list to anglicize the titles of the songs or the names of your friends, then you can still use voice control

well, at least you can still use voice control to dial a number by speaking the numbers out one by one.

Hmmmn... from what I've heard the iPhone 3G S supports the Japanese language. Am not sure if it supports Chinese

It should have Chinese support.  The 3G S was assembled in China.

It does have Chinese support. In fact it supports Cantonese, Mandarin and Fookien Chinese.

I do agree, they could've added some support for the most spoken language on Earth. It might just be your version, did you buy it in China or another country?

Eek, well, I don't know if the voice control would have Chinese. Lol. You should call them and be like "Make voice control in chinese or you'll be losing a customer!" lol, jk. um. idk how to help. sorry.

I've seen this come up before and I got curious so I looked it up.  It works for a bunch of languages.  See the link for all of them.
