What Makes the WE WIND TURBINE Different?


LIGHTWEIGHT

We have proven, against conventional wisdom, that wind can be captured by light-weight fan shaped blades with 17 times the surface area of a similar length conventional wind turbine blades.

Our blades weigh only 700 grams(1.5lb) each with 6 ft(~2 m) total diameter. This puts the total turbine weight at 15 kg. Our Xenecore Fan-Shape blades measure 7mm at the thickest point to 3mm to the thinnest point.  Our generator is 5 kW with starting torque at .1NM, capable of producing meaningful energy output at very low wind speed. Perfect for Off-Grid  and On-Grid applications.

While other wind turbines require average of 20mph(9 m/s) to make installing a wind turbine worthwhile, our FANTURBINE only require 6mph(3m/s). Considering that the average annual wind speed in USA is ~12mph, our Fan Turbines are ideal for energy solution for home, office, agriculture, telecom towers, ON/OFF grid, and smart cities around the world.


STRONG

With our patented Xenecore process, we have been able to achieve 90-degree perpendicular cores which is the strongest geometry strength to weight ratio using carbon layers. 

Creating wind by pushing air (ceiling fan for example) only needs nominal blade strength. However, the reverse (receiving wind) needs exponential structural strength because of the extra torque and resistance created from the direct-drive generator. Our FanTurbine blades are durable & strong enough to withstand these forces, even surviving storms and hurricanes.  There is no other molding technology anywhere in carbon fiber or glass fiber molding which allows perpendicular H walls that would withstand the force of air on a wide thin profile without collapsing.


SHOCK ABSORBENT = NOISELESS

Xenecore is proven to reduce vibration by providing stability in molding high-density lightweight foam cores. Reducing Vibration increases stability at high speed and also significantly reduces noise created by our blades.

Xenecore is molded and cured at one time with 90 degree cores using high-pressure gas which is encapsulated in microcapsules to hold temperature until carbon cures at 150 degrees Celsius.

All other fiber moldings whether for tennis racquets, bicycles, F14 jets, boats or NASCARs, are single or half cores with a foam core glued together to reduce vibration in an attempt to increase stability.
